Water Fed Pole – Why?

Better Cleaning Results

You may be surprised to know that no chemicals or detergents are used or required. Dirt particles are agitated using a purpose made, soft bristled brush and rinsed away using purified water means the windows are left wet and then dry naturally. Once dry you will be no doubt impressed with the results

You may notice that the windows stay cleaner for longer. This is because there is no soap residue left on the windows. The pure water which comes through our water fed pole system passes through two filtration systems (reverse osmosis and De-Ionisation) these filters remove chemicals, minerals and other imperfections.

Health & Safety

The use of water fed poles as an alternative to ladders where possible to do so, is now seen as the accepted way of cleaning windows in harmony with recent health and safety legislation. For your peace of mind we are fully insured.

Reduced Disturbance

Water fed poles are less invasive than ladders and cause less disturbance and potential damage e.g. reduced noise, no dents in the lawn, no damage to sills. Also the time it takes to clean the windows is likely to be less than traditional method.

Increased privacy

Something many householders appreciate is that by using water fed poles instead of ladders, there is no more need to worry about the window cleaner suddenly appearing at the bedroom window. No more running around tidying up or rushing to shut the curtains!

Improved access

Window cleaners can now reach with ease previously inaccessible aspects of your property such as third floor windows, conservatory roofs, windows above the conservatory or sloping roofs and other windows that previously had to be left for safety reasons.

Added Services

The cleaning of many more external features of your property is made easier using water fed poles. Frames, UPVC, panelling and cladding, conservatory, canopies, guttering, fascias, garage doors, solar panels etc.

How we work

  • If required we can send a text message or email the day before our visit asking for you to leave access to the rear of the property unlocked, i.e. gate, garage etc. If requested we can also securely lock your property as we leave.

  • If necessary we are able to give an approximate 2 hour time frame, when we expect to arrive.

  • We can clean commercial and domestic properties

  • We work in the rain. This is because our water fed pole cleaning also works in the rain. When water evaporates from the surface of lakes, rivers and the sea, the mineral content is left behind. When the water condenses and forms clouds the water is pure. This water then falls as rain but because it falls through the atmosphere, the water molecules bind to and dissolve all minerals it comes into contact with. This means that while the water is no longer pure, it does have a relatively low mineral content. In the UK the total dissolved solids (TDS) reading of rain water is around 14ppm, our limit for spot free cleaning is 10ppm, where as mains water is around 350ppm in this area. When we clean the windows with pure water whilst it is raining the pure water dilutes the rainwater and produces a TDS reading of approximately 7ppm which is within our range of spot free cleaning.

  • We will not work in severe weather or torrential rain - but showery, light rain or misty weather will not hinder our work. This will help us to continue to ensure a regular and professional service to all of our customers.
